Rival's operations are defined by four key principles:

High Working Interests/Operatorship

Rival is targeting at least a 50 percent working interest in the majority of its prospects and will assume operatorship whenever possible.

Sweet Gas and Light Oil at Shallow Depths

The Company's main focus is sweet natural gas and light oil which dominate the regions Rival has targeted. We are also targeting geological prospects at depths of less than 2,000 metres.

Year-Round Access and Infrastructure

To control costs and exploit exploration discoveries, Rival is focusing on areas where there is year-round access and the availability of existing infrastructure.

Grassroots Exploration and Acquisitions

The central element of any growing exploration company is an ability to internally generate prospects and drill them with success. This, combined with strategic acquisitions ensures continued growth.
